Dr Lena Sadler will host a breakfast for forty women doctors at 535 (sic) Diversey Parkway who had attended the national convention of women doctors in Milwaukee. Long version. This tradition of hosting out of town women doctors attending conventions was mentioned in Bertha Van Hoosen book, the "Petticoat Surgeon" and one method of organizing women to establish the American Women's Medical Association.
