936 pgs, "Towards Results of a Word Count Perl Program Run Against the ASCII Text of the Urantia Book" The program converts all words to lower case (so that "The" at the beginning of a sentence isn't counted differently from "the" used in the middle of a sentence), the titles of the files containing "The Urantia Book" are removed, the p:s.p notation is removed and punctuation is removed. In the final overall word count numbers are not included. The resulting output groups the frequency of words followed by a list in alphabetical order showing frequency. |
